390mm double bevel kitchen sword made from Takefu Yoshoku san mai with a v-gin 1 semi stainless core. This knife is ideal for large proteins and is also just a really damn fun knife. It has the longest blade I have ground to date and was an awesome experience to make.
This blade has a thin and darkly etched core with alternating layers of copper, brass and stainless steel with a hammer textured finish on the bevels. The spine and choil are mirror polished and etched to highlight the core steel sharpened to 4k.
The handle is a stunning piece of stabilised two-tone Amboyna Burl with Brass, copper and Stainless steel facetted bolster. This knife includes a leather saya that safely protects the knife for transport.
